I sure to appreciate that the young sparrows<\/strong> are gullible.  Got out this morning for my walk a bit late due to a small shower still going on early\u2026 and found\u2026<\/p>\n

\"1-SAM_0836\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I had captured 6 or more of them\u2026 that helps to keep the population down so the bluebirds and purple martins can have a place<\/strong> to nest\u2026 otherwise it would be nothing<\/strong> but nasty, mean sparrows<\/strong> around here\u2026 This evening I caught the cat giving them the eye as well but she can\u2019t get to them\u2026 <\/p>\n

\"1-IMG_8674\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Although she sure would like to\u2026 actually since she is a house cat, she is trying to figure<\/strong> out why they are not flying off like the other ones she chases so there is no chase in this?<\/p>\n

She did move off and stalk a rabbit just after this?  stupid cat.<\/p>\n

I neglected to put in that I did re-mulch my trees\u2026 still need to put much in the flower beds<\/strong> but got the trees<\/strong> done Saturday\u2026 At least they are not looking too bad even with the lack of rain<\/strong> but I have a drip<\/strong> system on them and water them plenty<\/strong> so they are getting well rooted and I will start slacking off on the watering at some point and just do supplemental\u2026 <\/p>\n

Had a really nice thunder head build to the north\u2026 didn\u2019t look like it would move our way but provided some great picture<\/strong> opportunity\u2026 lot more color in it than the pictures are able to express\u2026 still nice to see.  The bad part today after having such a big rain<\/strong> last night (about 3 inches) \u2026 the humidity is terrible\u2026 we have been living with low humidity and I had forgot how bad it is when the humidity gets up over 50%\u2026 before a lite fan or breeze and the temps were not bad but now\u2026 takes more than a small fan\u2026<\/p>\n
