It sure was that.  Most of what we did today was to remember one<\/strong> things or another.  Strange it all falls on Easter weekend<\/strong> this year?  <\/p>\n

First up we were up and out of here before 7AM\u2026 Sherrie had volunteered to work the \u201cRemember the 10\u201d<\/a> Fun run<\/strong> and had to be there at 7AM get her assignment and be ready for the start of the race at 9:15\u2026 So I was there as well.  I should have had her volunteer me but just never got to that point?  Anyway I did get a few pictures of the \u201crun,Jog,Walk or what ever as a remembrance of the 10 that died from the OSU basketball family many years ago\u2026 <\/p>\n

And Pete started the race\u2026 I think that police on the bike thought he was shot?  it Jumped a bit?  From this point it didin\u2019t look like a huge crowd<\/strong> but they just kept coming\u2026 someone said about 1800 in the race this year\u2026 a bit<\/strong> down but I figure some of that was due to it being Easter weekend?<\/p>\n

It is a bit<\/strong> surprising what some guys wore or didn\u2019t wear?  I think this guy<\/strong> was actually one<\/strong> of the track team members and he came in pretty quick anyway\u2026  but this was the start..<\/p>\n

And of course there they go\u2026 not all running as you can tell but still  a lot<\/strong> of participation..<\/p>\n

Oh and the lead guy<\/strong> at the first and the one<\/strong> right behind him at the finish line\u2026 from the back\u2026<\/p>\n

Even had a few Duck Dynasty want-a-bees\u2026<\/p>\n

This guy<\/strong> came in pretty quick pushing a buggy\u2026 !<\/p>\n

I noticed at the start some of the baskeball players were in the tail end of the race but they didn\u2019t stay at the end\u2026 and Coach Ford was out to support\u2026 Not sure why he didn\u2019t run?<\/p>\n

Didn\u2019t\u2019 get all of the BB team members, not all players some of the training staff were in the race but here were at least 3\u2026 ?<\/p>\n

And they made this kid run<\/strong> or rather he was dragging the ladies along? <\/p>\n

Well that was over by about 11 and we visited a friends food truck and picked up a little lunch\u2026 then headed home\u2026 <\/p>\n

I worked so hard that I had to take a nap\u2026 but the day<\/strong> was not over yet\u2026 <\/p>\n

About 4pm we headed back out to the art<\/strong> festival and dinner down town\u2026 strange it was on the same weekend<\/strong> and noticing that the flags were at half mast it was also remembrance of the Murrah Bombing<\/a> on this day<\/strong> many (19) years ago\u2026 <\/p>\n

Dinner was BarBQue at the Cherokee Strip\u2026 sorry, no pictures of that\u2026<\/p>\n

At the art<\/strong> show we walked it pretty fast\u2026 wasn\u2019t really looking for anything so didn\u2019t have to look too hard, but there were a lot<\/strong> of vendors there, small crowd<\/strong> at 5pm?  <\/p>\n

Last year<\/strong> there were a good number of old cars but this year<\/strong> they either were all gone by 5pm or just didn\u2019t have a big turnout? <\/p>\n

Relative to the main weekend<\/strong> event..<\/p>\n

Ok, I saw this and immediately thought of Carl, a guy<\/strong> I used to work with\u2026 he does a lot<\/strong> of \u2018journal\u201d stuff and likes fancy note books and pens\u2026 he would of enjoyed this display\u2026<\/p>\n

And Sherrie always has to check out the OSU stuff\u2026 metal art<\/strong> that was pretty neat\u2026<\/p>\n

To end the day<\/strong> we made it to a special Saturday Night church session\u2026 Heard the sermon that they will hear tomorrow\u2026 but better music, I think? then home and vegetate a bit\u2026 <\/p>\n
