I hope it is a good end and not my rear end that is set to happen\u2026 Today I decommissioned my work computer and phone and sent them back to \u201cthe company\u201d.  Monday should be my last<\/strong> day<\/strong> of full (or partial) employment.  I have been looking forward to cutting those ties but it is with fear that they are now going<\/strong> away\u2026 hope I have things setup well enough to enjoy things now with out having to work.  Only time<\/strong> will tell.<\/p>\n

On other notes, it has been awhile since I last<\/strong> posted and things have happened\u2026 it was a week ago that daughter and grandsons came up to visit\u2026 at the request of Grandson #1 we went to Jimmy\u2019s Egg for lunch one day<\/strong> and with my lunch I got a salad\u2026 had two packages of crackers with it and one \u2026. was a little short? <\/p>\n

Not bad , just 1.5 crackers in that pack\u2026 not sure it is Premium to get short?<\/p>\n

I have been filling the bird feeder at some points and so far it is not all sparrows that are getting the wild seed\u2026 this guy came to visit and had a lot<\/strong> of friends..<\/p>\n

Last week I got the motorhome back to OKC for some repair.  Seems that if you don\u2019t  run<\/strong> the generator a lot<\/strong> it will clog up the cooling system and foul the temp sensor.  When that happens it won\u2019t run<\/strong> for longer than 5 minutes.  So Tuesday I hooked up the \u201cnew jeep\u201d and towed it down to the city\u2026 worked great, all the wiring and things done were fine and we are now ready to hit the road\u2026 again\u2026 Oh and got the generator fixed as well\u2026 but took another big chunk of money for that\u2026 not a simple $100 fix\u2026 ouch.  I will have to make<\/strong> sure I run<\/strong> it at least an hour or so every month or more to keep it circulated and maybe set it up for a flush? in a couple of years.  It did feel good to be out on the road , even if it was to the repair<\/strong> shop.  We just need<\/strong> to get some weekends out and enjoy things now.<\/p>\n

Last weekend we made the National Wrestling Tournament in OKC\u2026 it was fun but not so sure I would make<\/strong> big trip, to like NYC , to see it?   We went Friday night<\/strong> and when we left our team was ahead\u2026 although we knew it would not last<\/strong> as we didn\u2019t have any point possibilities in the consolations\u2026<\/p>\n

We did have 4 in the finals and won 2 of those with National Champions\u2026 We started the night<\/strong> (Saturday night) with a really big time<\/strong> win and had the crowd going\u2026<\/p>\n

We just didn\u2019t have enough horses in the total race to stay in first place and ended up in 3rd\u2026 not bad, but with our history anything less than #1 is just not as exciting.<\/p>\n

I have done a little yard work but every time<\/strong> I get ready to start it gets cold or wet again\u2026 and found that I have flowers coming out\u2026 <\/p>\n

I now need<\/strong> to get the tall grass trimmed back as it will start coming out as well\u2026 next warm, dry day<\/strong> I have that on my list\u2026<\/p>\n

I did get another repair<\/strong> done on the motorhome early this week before the cold came back\u2026 had a leaky drain faucet near the tanks that I swapped out.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take as long as I had figured it would\u2026 it didn\u2019t leak until I turned on the faucet as the broken connection was on the outlet piece so I had not been in a hurry to fix it but now it is fixed and no more leaks\u2026 until the next time<\/strong> it freezes with a little water on the outlet side? <\/p>\n

Last Sunday I also got busy with the grill and did a mess of ribs and a pork roast for pulled pork.  it all turned out , \u201cfall-off-the-bone\u201d and was pretty tasty.  I did a different taste than my DIL had been doing so this time<\/strong> it was a bit sweeter?  It is something to play with to get the taste right\u2026 <\/p>\n

The roast was pretty good and most of it I put in a freezer bag (after pulling it off the bone) so we can use it in Green Chili later\u2026 One thing I am seeing here\u2026 in order to test more recipes and find ones we like\u2026 I am going<\/strong> to have to give more food away?  no way we can keep up eating all this\u2026 <\/p>\n

Of course I have been hitting the radio quite often\u2026 still have a lot<\/strong> of states to catch on multiple bands but slowly I am filling in the holes on that goal\u2026 I am also enjoying the time<\/strong> spent.  I do need<\/strong> to get back on a couple of projects that are waiting\u2026 I have the parts but need<\/strong> to build up a couple of control boards for the power switches I started last<\/strong> year\u2026 still\u2026 Hope to get on that next month and get both those done.  Also have an airplane to repair<\/strong>. I need<\/strong> to find the right coke cans to make<\/strong> it look like the rest of the plane when I replace a broken piece\u2026   Seems there is always plenty to do\u2026 <\/p>\n
