But first a little catching up to do\u2026 <\/p>\n

The 20th\u2026? huh, must have been important but not sure what it was\u2026<\/p>\n

The 21st\u2026 I took the new Jeep to Edmond to get some additions put on\u2026 <\/p>\n

\"1-SAM_0663\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It needed a towing hitch\u2026 an agreed item the dealer had to get put on\u2026<\/p>\n

\"1-SAM_0665\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It also has to have a tow base plate on it so I can hook up behind the motorhome when we hit the road\u2026 I have a BlueOx tow bar and this base plate is a bit<\/strong> expensive but really a lot nicer than the old one\u2026 the pins remove so it doesn\u2019t stick out for a knee knocker like the old one, mounts solid to the frame and not the bumper, etc.\u2026 but this one<\/strong> was about 4 times more expensive than the last\u2026? just money anyway\u2026 and we got it wired to be towed as well as got the tow brake all hooked up and ready\u2026 <\/p>\n

I had also gotten \u201cslush mats\u201d from the dealer that they sent to me and I put them in when I got home..<\/p>\n

Much better than the old jeep as the mats in this one<\/strong> have snap hooks on each side so they won\u2019t slide up under the dash as you continually have to push that direction when you get in or out..<\/p>\n

We have also gotten a few more things on but have not unboxed and mounted yet\u2026 no big \u201cBUTCH\u201d bumper (yet) as I don\u2019t intend to get so deep I have to have help getting out\u2026<\/p>\n

Next, on Wednesday I got some more parts and got an antenna mount on and coax run<\/strong> through the frame to my new radio<\/a>\u2026 so got this put on to be minimal obtrusive..<\/p>\n

So far not impressed with the reception difference but may need to run<\/strong> a better ground to it from the frame behind\u2026 as well as stiffen it up a bit\u2026 that fender wall is pretty thin, in my opinion\u2026 <\/p>\n

Yesterday was a work day<\/strong> and it was damn cold\u2026 wind was up to 25mph and temps in the 20\u2019s \u2026 that is brutal for an older guy\u2026 and last<\/strong> night\u2026 whew\u2026 down near zero\u2026 My weather station<\/strong> said 4.8 but I think it may have been closer to 0.48\u2026 Now even though I worked I did fix dinner\u2026 pulled out a pre-prepared meatloaf and burnt that in the oven and then made some mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it as and just to make<\/strong> sure, Sherrie nuked some peas so we had green color as well\u2026 not too bad\u2026 not the best meatloaf but since I don\u2019t get such food but once in a blue moon and I think due to the cold it was blue last<\/strong> night\u2026 we had meatloaf..<\/p>\n

Today, again working to make<\/strong> a little money spent the morning and much of the afternoon pulling data for a project I have to work on\u2026 Maybe if it will warm up I can get some more \u201cstuff\u201d on the jeep\u2026 <\/p>\n

On my way in town today, even though it had warmed to mid 30\u2019s I caught this..<\/p>\n

Tonight was Wrestling night\u2026 and oh\u2026 I have gained another animal to watch over\u2026 inherited daughters cat\u2026 I think it was grandsons to start with but it doesn\u2019t get on well with the big dogs, and the new baby and \u2026 so we offered to keep her for awhile till everyone grows out of it\u2026 maybe\u2026 so we now have a big cat in the house\u2026 one<\/strong> more to feed can\u2019t be all that bad? maybe?<\/p>\n
