Well yesterday was a busy day, although it started out pretty slow.  Some of us just couldn\u2019t get things moving at the right time.  We finally got people<\/strong> around and loaded up to head south to visit more family for the day.  <\/p>\n

Our first piece of business was to take Flat Stanley<\/strong> (a school<\/strong> project<\/strong> thing for Grandson #1) out and show him some of the sights in Colorado Springs.  Due to our late start we only made it to the Garden of the Gods drive through\u2026 <\/p>\n

Here he was going<\/strong> to stop at the visitor center but he got up too late\u2026so he went on in to see the rocks\u2026<\/p>\n

Here we all got out to get some pictures\u2026 he wanted to walk the trail but we reminded him he slept in and would have to go another day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He figured he could fit into some of these holes in the rocks<\/strong> ?<\/p>\n

He then saw people<\/strong> climbing on the rocks\u2026 well it is hard to tell in this shot..<\/p>\n

They are the little blue dots up there\u2026<\/p>\n

He thought they were either very brave or really stupid? <\/p>\n

He wondered why this rock was still upright?  It has really good balance\u2026<\/p>\n

looking back it was not as tipped as it looked going<\/strong> by but still? <\/p>\n

He saw this statue on the way south\u2026 about the old gold miners..<\/p>\n

We then had to hurry<\/strong> on to Florence,Co as we were expected to be there by noon\u2026<\/p>\n

He saw this dinosaur when we got to Florence\u2026 and it had lights on it..<\/p>\n

Late we all headed back to Ryan and Brookes house and They decided to take Stanley to the Zoo for the lights\u2026<\/p>\n

It was the Electric Safari<\/strong> trip\u2026<\/p>\n

I know it is hard to tell but Brooke had him at the Christmas Tree..<\/p>\n

and he got up close and personal with a Giraffe\u2026<\/p>\n

She tried to fee him to the electric lion but it must not have been hungry?<\/p>\n

here he was looking at the Hippo\u2026<\/p>\n

after all this excitement he came home and went to bed\u2026 so ends the day<\/strong> for Flat Stanley\u2026<\/p>\n
