We left early this morning and headed West.  Have one<\/strong> more Christmas and some visiting to do before the week is over.  On the way of a 12 hour journey<\/strong> I got a couple<\/strong> of pictures\u2026 not much else to talk about..<\/p>\n

Snow in the Panhandle makes it look even more desolate than it is\u2026 nothing for miles and miles in any direction\u2026<\/p>\n

We had been seeing a lot of tumble weeds in the fences and along the roads that last<\/strong> 100 miles but just west of Clayton, NM\u2026 it was an awesome site.  Not sure I had ever seen them stacked this high and thick\u2026 note the road<\/strong> sign<\/strong> in the middle\u2026 those things are about 8 feet or more off the ground\u2026 <\/p>\n

And this one\u2026 that is a Historical marker sign\u2026 that marker is somewhere down below\u2026 and looking down the road<\/strong> it ran for a really long ways as well\u2026 <\/p>\n

Beyond that excitement it was a normal trip\u2026 made more stops that we plan for, was slower than we planned but made I to our end point in Colorado Springs about right.<\/p>\n

More visiting and Christmas stuff\u2026 and late dinner\u2026 <\/p>\n

Snow in the Panhandle makes it look even more desolate than it is\u2026 nothing for miles and miles in any direction\u2026<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

We had been seeing a lot of tumble weeds in the fences and along the roads that last 100 miles but just west of Clayton, NM\u2026 it was an awesome site.  Not sure I had ever seen them stacked this high and thick\u2026 note the road sign in the middle\u2026 those things are about 8 feet or more off the <\/p>\n
