At least that is what Willie used to sing about..  Today was another day<\/strong> on airplanes, airports, airport<\/strong> food, and sore back\u2026 but not many more of those, we hope\u2026<\/p>\n

So what have I been up to?  I guess<\/strong> my last real post was Busy busy\u2026 and we were\u2026 thank god we don\u2019t have young kids\u2026 I am not wired for that much activity anymore\u2026 I like it a little slower, a little less active and time<\/strong> to rest in-between things\u2026 We finished up the GS#1 care week on Friday and promptly headed home\u2026 we missed the first men’s BB game<\/strong> but sounded like we didn\u2019t miss a lot\u2026 it was a one way scoring fest and everyone got to play\u2026 we did make it to the FB game<\/strong> Saturday and it was fun but not exciting\u2026 when you win 42 \u2013 6 there is little to be excited about\u2026 the first play out of the box was a 100 yard return for TD\u2026 that was the most excitement for the day\u2026 <\/p>\n

Beyond all that I have been doing some Ham radio stuff\u2026 hitting the JT65 pretty hard and did some 160 meter<\/strong> contacts Friday night\u2026 that was a kick and for some odd reason I didn\u2019t have a huge amount of noise? Maybe I was imagining all that?  I sure hope to get in a lot<\/strong> more 160 meter<\/strong> stuff this winter\u2026 like to get my WAS there while I can\u2026 may take two winters to get it done but will shoot for it\u2026 <\/p>\n

This weekend we made a stop at Wal-Mart and I spotted another of those REDNECK specials\u2026 <\/p>\n

and look at the size of them Horns\u2026 ? <\/p>\n

guess<\/strong> he wanted to feel like a big time<\/strong> truck\u2026 even though it is a F350\u2026 the horns add so much more\u2026\u2026 wind resistance\u2026.<\/p>\n

On my way to Mexico today had to have my fill of airport<\/strong> food\u2026 picked the better of the 4\u2026 I think? <\/p>\n

had Salt Lick BarBQue\u2026 <\/p>\n

it is not near as good as Cherokee Strip or Bad Brads \u2026 but for airport<\/strong> food\u2026 passable\u2026<\/p>\n

It was supposed to be a brisket, sausage and turkey plate\u2026 I never found the brisket???? <\/p>\n

In Houston I spotted this guy<\/strong> and instantly though of a friend of mine (in his much younger days)\u2026 this guy<\/strong> might have been 18\u2026 <\/p>\n

and I was a bit slow in getting the camera out so reading the back of the jacket is not clear but it said  and I think I am right \u201cHigh school<\/strong> National Finals Rodeo Contestant\u201d\u2026 I didn\u2019t capture in what or if he won but it did have several other patch’s on it so probably he did place at something\u2026 <\/p>\n

well that is things caught up for now\u2026 in a motel agn\u2026 meeting in morning \u2026 agn\u2026 and maybe 10 days of head banging questions\u2026 and a lot<\/strong> of DOH! comments\u2026 till tomorrow\u2026<\/p>\n
