The day<\/strong> wasn\u2019t too bad until the end.  Spent much of the day<\/strong> working<\/strong> on the reports.  I did get out a couple of times but not for anything exciting\u2026 Out for lunch at the local traveling <\/p>\n

I had a special lf the day\u2026 turkey with mozzarella cheese and spinach and artichoke heart sauce\u2026 boy it was a lot and stupid me\u2026 I also had the waffle fries that are sprinkled with butter and garlic\u2026 didn\u2019t get through half<\/strong> of it..<\/p>\n

I know it looks nasty but was pretty good.<\/p>\n

They also serve up a local pop and some huge special iced teas\u2026<\/p>\n

Being in Louisiana\u2026. \u201cSwamp pop\u201d\u2026<\/a>  I had the tea\u2026 well about half<\/strong> of it and it was the Green tea<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n

Now that is something unusual for lunch\u2026 <\/p>\n

At the end of the day<\/strong> I was going<\/strong> to head to the Blue Dog<\/a> to meet up with the other guys\u2026  I had eaten there before about 2 years ago and it was really good\u2026 I was looking forward to it too\u2026<\/p>\n

but I decided to go check<\/strong> the hotel serving just in case and left my keys and all but my phone in the room\u2026 walked out at 5:45 to go check<\/strong> the serving and when I walked back\u2026 the electronic key didn\u2019t work?  hum\u2026. so I went to the desk to get another one, much of gotten too close to the phone\u2026 got one<\/strong> , went back and \u2026 still didn\u2019t work\u2026 and no red or green light either?  hum again\u2026 went back to the front and explained the problem and they got the local ? on duty manager to go check<\/strong> and sure enough it was dead and her little device didn\u2019t work either\u2026 they had to call a lock smith to break in\u2026 <\/p>\n

That took them about 3 hours to get a smithy over and get it open\u2026 so they could replace the battery\u2026 so I didn\u2019t make it to the Blue Dog\u2026 I did get to eat there as the manager bought me dinner while I waited , but it was not the same\u2026 still good food but setting in the lobby eating is not quit the same as the restaurant or in your own room for that matter\u2026 when I finished eating they still were working<\/strong> on the door<\/strong> so I got in a 40 minute walk to work down all that stuff I ate today and as I finished up they got the door<\/strong> open\u2026 good thing<\/strong> I didn\u2019t have a deadline on any of the work I had going\u2026 or I wouldn\u2019t be typing this\u2026 still real aggravating\u2026 on top of the fact when I checked in they welcomed me as a \u201cplatinum\u201d member and told me I got an upgrade\u2026 yea sure\u2026 the handicap room that only has half<\/strong> the furniture, a queen bed and not the king I had before, a bathroom that has a tub instead of a shower and the tub has a bench on the back end that is in the way if you want to shower\u2026 along with the fact that all the counters are about waste level so you have to stoop to pick up the soap, the toothbrush and everything else\u2026 oh well\u2026 it happens but WHY ME?\u2026  This about the 5th time in 2 years I have gotten the wheel<\/strong> chair<\/strong> room?  guess I look like I should be in a wheel<\/strong> chair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
