Well, I am off on another adventure.  Left yesterday for South Louisiana<\/strong> (yes it is for work) \u2026 I actually enjoy trips down here but not during the summer and early fall\u2026 so much stuff is \u201cout of season\u201d\u2026 but that doesn\u2019t hinder the chance to get some good food<\/strong> otherwise\u2026 well that was the hope\u2026 <\/p>\n

Sunday I got the early flight to Dallas so had time to get some dinner at the airport\u2026 yea airport<\/strong> food\u2026 whoopie\u2026 although there is a Papa Deaux in Terminal A\u2026 I wasn\u2019t that hungry\u2026 but maybe I should have been ?  as things are not heading in the right direction<\/strong> yet\u2026<\/p>\n

In the airport<\/strong> I opted for a cheaper Louisiana specialty\u2026 Popeye’s\u2026 <\/p>\n

Yes\u2026 I ate the bones!\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today was not much better\u2026 we were taken to a great little restaurant in New Iberia\u2026 <\/p>\n

Oh boy\u2026 come to South Louisiana<\/strong> and get Mexican? <\/p>\n

I did opt for the shrimp<\/strong> chimichanga\u2026 so that might make<\/strong> it a little more local?  <\/p>\n

Tonight\u2026 the crew opted for , of all places, \u201cOut Back steakhouse\u201d\u2026 geeez, so I had the 6oz filet with not much else\u2026 no picture<\/strong> as I figure<\/strong> you have seen a very small filet with nothing else on the plate\u2026I am so stuffed from over eating all the wrong stuff\u2026 I need to go lay down now.<\/p>\n

I wonder what they will think of next?  <\/p>\n
