It was not exciting here the past couple<\/strong> of days but I did get some things done\u2026 I have gotten back in to walking\u2026 at least 2 of the 3 morning<\/strong> since I got home<\/strong> so I hope to keep that up\u2026I sure need<\/strong> the exercise\u2026  The other day<\/strong> on the way to pick up the wife I spotted this\u2026 the University is back in and this was the first week of class\u2026 <\/p>\n

Could that be a freshman? Probably an art student with the tool box full of supplies and all the other stuff? what a load (in more ways than one).<\/p>\n

1.  Since I wacked the TV antenna on the motor home<\/strong> agn last<\/strong> month I replaced that yesterday morning\u2026 only took a couple<\/strong> of hours to get it all scraped off, new base put in and puttied up as well as put on the new \u201cflow able\u201d caulk\u2026 it works\u2026 fairly smooth so one<\/strong> job down..<\/p>\n

2.  I also spent Friday and Saturday getting the mowing and weed whacking done\u2026 that wore me out as I did a lot<\/strong> more on the pond dam and dragging that big wheel trimmer up and down that slope is a real wearing job\u2026 but got a lot<\/strong> more of the big stuff\u2026 although I still have a big chunk that I need<\/strong> to get on \u2026 sometime later this week\u2026 <\/p>\n

3.  The last<\/strong> of the wood<\/strong> roll up blinds fell apart so I built the frame, the wife put on the sun-screen material and I got it hung up\u2026 so that is done and I need<\/strong> to get the hooks put in so I can life them all back up out of the way this winter\u2026 <\/p>\n

4.  Working on all this it hit me I really needed to clean up the lower porch\u2026 seems the live-ins I had were not big on cleaning up messes or sweeping things out\u2026 in fact they had left me a real mess down there so I spent a few hours today getting that cleaned out\u2026 <\/p>\n

And the ladder is there so I can put up the last<\/strong> screen\u2026 in the hole\u2026 didn\u2019t get an after pic of that yet\u2026 for those that know\u2026 see, no dog hair!<\/p>\n

5. I had to trim out some low hanging limbs from the big oak to the south of the house\u2026 now I need<\/strong> to get out there with the small trailer clean that up and haul off\u2026 got several spots to clear out so will get on that maybe tomorrow\u2026 then maybe haul a load or two of mulch back out for some of the trees\u2026 <\/p>\n

6.  Tuesday the crew is to show up and pull the tile at the entry and put down the hard wood<\/strong> flooring\u2026 should have had that done when we built but figured the tile would be a better deal but after living here awhile\u2026 it appears the wood<\/strong> to the front door would look better and we don\u2019t drag in much mud that way so the tile is not as necessary as we first thought.  I have the extra hard wood<\/strong> so it will just be the cost of taking the tile out and putting the wood<\/strong> down\u2026 I hope.<\/p>\n

7.  I also made my Sunday night PSK31 sked with KD8IE\u2026 it was short but I made it this week\u2026 need<\/strong> to be a lot<\/strong> more diligent on that\u2026 unfortunately the timing for it is not the best\u2026 it is just 7pm here and during the summer I am still out doing things at 7 and for him it is 8pm so he is slowing things down\u2026 during the winter<\/strong> it is ok as it is dark anyway\u2026 but during the sunlight hours\u2026 there are things to do.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, ?  not sure.  I need<\/strong> to discuss my schedule for September with one<\/strong> of the guys and I really need<\/strong> to get my expenses worked out so may not get much outside \u201cWORK\u201d done\u2026 That may not last<\/strong> a lot<\/strong> longer anyway\u2026 we will have to see how it goes from here.<\/p>\n
