Today we took a few hours this afternoon<\/strong> to see a few new things here and not just work\u2026 it was Sunday anyway\u2026 although Sunday here is something different and nearly all the shops are open but more importantly the street<\/strong> vendors are out in force\u2026 That said our goal was to walk up ‘\u201dmonkey hill\u201d and then get to the top of the hill<\/strong> for the Tang Kuan Hilltop<\/a>.  http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Songkhla_Province<\/a><\/p>\n

We saw the monkeys and the hilltop shrine\u2026 interesting..<\/p>\n

of course people<\/strong> come to see and vendors set up to sell foods to people<\/strong> that feed the monkeys so they are pretty tame\u2026 <\/p>\n

Once we finished that we walked down to the beach and tried to get some pictures of the sunset but we were in the wrong place<\/strong> for that\u2026 did get some other pictures of ships , and things.<\/p>\n

Once back down near the hotel there was a street<\/strong> vendors section and a biker conventions of sorts\u2026<\/p>\n

The area was filled with food<\/strong> vendors and other stuff\u2026 what a crowd<\/strong> and a Karaoke stage and it was really bad\u2026<\/p>\n

It was bad\u2026 <\/p>\n

That is one heck of a sandwich?<\/p>\n

Fish and ?<\/p>\n

Anything on a stick\u2026<\/p>\n

And a double deck place, cook on top and serve underneath\u2026 down below there were customers setting to eat\u2026?<\/p>\n

At this point I got a cold cup of yogurt with fruit but Carl\u2026 was adventurous and got several things we couldn\u2019t identify\u2026 normal for Carl\u2026 the proverbial Mikey\u2026 He will eat anything!<\/p>\n

Back to the hotel and crash as there will be another day.<\/p>\n
