I have been working most of my time<\/strong> here, and being so far north the sun sets about the time<\/strong> I leave work and is not truly up when I head to work\u2026 but today<\/strong> I took a short diversion at 4:45PM and there was enough light to get some decent pictures\u2026 Strange that I was only 1\/2 mile from the facility I am checking out\u2026 and this was just a drive way off the main road<\/strong> back to the major highway I use back and forth to motel\u2026 I had spotted this neat barn<\/strong> yesterday and I am a \u201cbarn<\/strong> picture\u201d person\u2026 so I stopped to get this one<\/p>\n

Close by were several other old out buildings from a long used farmstead\u2026 I doubt that it is all used today<\/strong> like it was back when but there are a lot of interesting pieces here..<\/p>\n

Just around the corner a large group of Deer bounded across the road\u2026this guy was at first watching the others go over the hill\u2026<\/p>\n

The turned to watch me\u2026<\/p>\n

Behind that barn<\/strong> was an old shack\u2026 not sure if it was an out-house or a cabin or what but since I did not have permission I stayed on the road\u2026<\/p>\n

I think the wagon has seen better days\u2026<\/p>\n

On up that road\u2026 I shot this..<\/p>\n

Bird house on a tilt\u2026 but look closer\u2026 I missed it when I got the first two pictures\u2026<\/p>\n

I was totally focused on the bird house in a very strange position\u2026. <\/p>\n

what about again?<\/p>\n

Any clearer?  I still had not realized it was there\u2026<\/p>\n

As I pulled up to the top of the hill, turned the car<\/strong> around at the end of the driveway to a house\u2026 and started back down\u2026 <\/p>\n

Son-of-a-Gun\u2026 They are are a little bigger than the deer\u2026 and still they are not more than 200 yards from a very busy highway and on the other side<\/strong> of that is a very large industrial park then a town of maybe 100,000 people\u2026 who says all the wildlife has moved off? <\/p>\n

Not sure what he\/she was doing but it looked funny\u2026<\/p>\n

So a 20 minute<\/strong> diversion off the main road<\/strong> to get a barn<\/strong> picture<\/strong> lead to a much large collection of things to see.. This is what I enjoy most about trips\u2026 the other 99% of the time<\/strong> just truly sucks\u2026 but that is because it is work\u2026 I guess\u2026<\/p>\n
