It was just another day<\/strong> at work\u2026 up early , about 5am\u2026 got ready and packed things for a 2 day<\/strong> road trip.  Left Houston in the horrible traffic<\/strong> of a Monday morning, light rain, bumper to bumper traffic\u2026 such fun. <\/p>\n

Picked up another passenger and headed off for a near 4 hour drive.  Arrived a the first destination and had lunch at the ever exciting Popeye\u2019s\u2026 I like the mild chicken, what else can I say? <\/p>\n

Had a meeting<\/strong> \/ training session about stuff that should be known but never seems to get done. <\/p>\n

Left that place<\/strong> late afternoon<\/strong> and put in another near 2 hours drive to a second place<\/strong> that we will repeat some of the meeting<\/strong> again tomorrow and go over things that have or have not been done on actions left to be done about a year 8 months ago\u2026 <\/p>\n

Checked into our lodging place<\/strong> that is a fairly new motel but is obviously not of high quality construction.. A little mold around the tub, dark odd carpet, but it does have a HD<\/strong> TV\u2026 but I don\u2019t watch much TV\u2026 <\/p>\n

Got ready to head off for dinner<\/strong> and the hotel was offering gathering food\u2026 Little Caesar’s pizza \u2013 the $5 specials, and lite beer (Butt lite or Miller lite)\u2026 oh and chips and salsa?  odd combination.  So we opted for cheap and didn\u2019t get out for dinner<\/strong> and then to the room\u2026 again\u2026 and my further excitement\u2026 catch up the diary and read some more of my book\u2026 <\/p>\n

I am not a heavy book reader but every so often I pick up one just have to read till it is done\u2026 I now use the Kindle Fire , and upgrade from my old tablet and a hand<\/strong> me down from upgrading my wife to the Fire HD\u2026 I don\u2019t really care as it does what I need and it is easy to carry\u2026 <\/p>\n

Exciting day, huh?<\/p>\n
