on another wild goose\u2026\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\">I am off working again this week.&#160; Another <strong>set<\/strong> of flights, another <strong>location<\/strong> to visit and this <strong>time<\/strong> I am not sure exactly why I am here.&#160; I <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>guess<\/strong> I will <strong>make<\/strong> things up as it goes\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>It was an early start to my day.&#160; Had to actually get up before 5am and <strong>hit<\/strong> the road to <strong>make<\/strong> my flights.&#160; I could of opted for earlier <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>flights<\/strong> too.&#160; They had some to leave OKC at 6:30 but to <strong>check<\/strong> in about 1 or 2 hours before and drive the 1+ <strong>hour<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>trip<\/strong> I would have had to get up about 3:30am and that might have cut it close?&#160; Not to worry as I had not real plans, no real meeting so I <strong>set<\/strong> my <strong>time<\/strong> and got in at about 2pm .&#160; That gave me a very short <strong>afternoon<\/strong> to try and <strong>figure<\/strong> out why I am here.&#160; Like most things in my jobs now it is more filling in where others just don\u2019t seem to want or be able to get things done. <\/p>\n<p>I got the the <strong>airport<\/strong> and waited the usual <strong>hour<\/strong> plus, got on the <strong>plane<\/strong> and just after it backs out the pilot comes on and says they have a little problem and we will wait a few more minutes to see if it clears up.&#160; They suspected that it was a <strong>bit<\/strong> too cold on it <strong>last<\/strong> night and it is taking longer to warm up than normal.&#160; That was the case because in about 10 minutes he said it was ok now and we were on our way.&#160; I was sure hoping he knew what he was talking about?&#160; <\/p>\n<p>We got to Dallas and I had another <strong>couple<\/strong> of hours to wait\u2026 that is about all I do now is \u201churry up and wait\u201d.&#160; Sure tired of that.&#160; While I was waiting I was doing my usual <strong>thing<\/strong> of watching the various different kinds of people that travel.&#160; I am sure glad I have been lucky so far as some of them are those that require two seats and only <strong>buy<\/strong> <strong>one<\/strong>\u2026 Anyway in the <strong>airport<\/strong> I spotted this really small traveler\u2026 <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SAM_6717.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"SAM_6717\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_6717\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SAM_6717_thumb.jpg?resize=537%2C449\" width=\"537\" height=\"449\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I don\u2019t think she was going to take up even <strong>one<\/strong> seat\u2026 She was traveling with mom and grandma (I guess) and was really happy to be dragging her own suitcase, even if it was bigger than she was\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I should have taken more pictures but was not prepared most of the <strong>time<\/strong> so I tell myself to do a better job\u2026 next <strong>time<\/strong> I will.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>Tonight I am in Cajun country and of course I had to get some Cajun food\u2026 made it to BlueDog for some <strong>gumbo<\/strong>\u2026 The <strong>gumbo<\/strong> was ok but the rice was not?&#160; it was really good the <strong>last<\/strong> <strong>time<\/strong> we ate there?&#160; Maybe it had something to do with the company <strong>last<\/strong> <strong>time<\/strong> as well?&#160; This <strong>time<\/strong> I was on my own\u2026 Tomorrow is shaped up to be another <strong>one<\/strong> of those \u201cWhy the <strong>hell<\/strong> am I here\u201d days\u2026 We will get through it and <strong>make<\/strong> the best of what we have.. <\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><strong>REX<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\">I am off
