Well, today<\/strong> I got out early and had my walk\u2026 then headed off to town.  I was going to put some checks in the bank and check<\/strong> on some pansies for the front<\/strong> flower<\/strong> bed.  I also stopped and got a burrito at Braums for good measure and set and read the paper.  I got to Lowes and found the flowers I thought would look good.  Got a whole flat of pansies for under $12\u2026 not too bad but now I need to go back and get some grub killer\u2026found them while planting the flowers. <\/p>\n

This is a little after I started\u2026 needed to trim out a bunch of that sumac\u2026 We were talked into that as it would add color, all it does it take over\u2026 <\/p>\n

Here I had already trimmed out about 2\/3 of the over hang\u2026 it had just about taken up all the area from the post<\/strong> to the rock and was covering the other stuff\u2026 so back it goes\u2026 <\/p>\n

I then moved the post<\/strong> to a spot a little more hidden and better to use to wrap the sumac a little to hold it more upright..<\/p>\n

Then I tied it all up and planted the flat of pansies in the front\u2026<\/p>\n

As you can tell, when I got this picture<\/strong> it was a bit<\/strong> later\u2026 I had cleaned up all my tools and it was started to rain<\/strong> a little\u2026 It did rain<\/strong> about 1\/3 of an inch real slow during the afternoon\u2026<\/p>\n

I am not sure if that is enough flowers or not?  it is about twice last year<\/strong> but still looks a bit<\/strong> thin\u2026 may get another flat later?  when I get the grub killer\u2026<\/p>\n

On my way back from town today<\/strong> I stopped at Wal-mart to check<\/strong> out if they had any different flowers and found this\u2026<\/p>\n

It is not even October\u2026 We haven\u2019t even started the Halloween stuff yet\u2026   I think they get earlier every year<\/strong> and pretty soon the <\/p>\n

\u201cChristmas in July\u201d will be true\u2026 I think it is a crock as we don\u2019t really get to enjoy the actual Holidays with the pumping for Christmas sales so early\u2026<\/p>\n
