Trip out in the \u201cOUTBACK<\/strong>\u201d today.  Did get to see a few things and missed several good photos<\/strong>\u2026 the ones missed\u2026<\/p>\n

Emu raced across the road<\/strong> in front<\/strong> of us\u2026<\/p>\n

several big lizards on the road<\/strong> or crossing it\u2026 I was in the back seat<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

The things I did see (not totally associated with the work I was doing)\u2026 <\/p>\n

Actually this is where we are staying but have some in flight<\/strong> from on locations\u2026 a type<\/strong> of swallow..<\/p>\n

he was not more than 4 ft. away flashing by catching flies\u2026 he needs to do a much better job \u2013 the flies were terrible\u2026 <\/p>\n

Coming in at a different angle\u2026 above this time<\/strong>..<\/p>\n

I know a bad shot\u2026 in the sun<\/strong> and no view finder it is hard to center<\/strong> and get a picture<\/strong> that is not fuzzy or off frame\u2026 but these guys were everywhere\u2026 never have seen hawks grouped together like buzzards flying around in circles or coming in as much as they were here\u2026 <\/p>\n

There were several of these around as well\u2026 something<\/strong> akin to a parrot?  <\/p>\n

On the way out\u2026 this \u201cDingo\u201d crossed the road<\/strong> in front<\/strong> and looked back, I missed the pictures of the other one<\/strong> waiting back in the brush on the other side<\/strong>\u2026 I know\u2026 dogs\u2026 but they are wild \u201cOUTBACK<\/strong>\u201d dogs<\/strong> here and called DINGO<\/strong>\u2026 <\/p>\n

Scenic beauty of the outback\u2026 looks a lot<\/strong> like the San Luis Valley<\/strong> but no mountains<\/strong> on the edge\u2026 just miles \u2026.oooops Kilometers and Kilometers of this stuff\u2026<\/p>\n

That was my day<\/strong> out in the OUTBACK<\/strong>\u2026 better than the Sahara for scenery\u2026 <\/p>\n
