hate days like this"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not that I have a problem with holidays or days when we are not supposed to be <strong>working<\/strong> or even days that I just don\u2019t get excited about much of <strong>anything<\/strong>\u2026 I really like those\u2026 I do hate the <strong>day<\/strong> before I have to go to an <strong>airport<\/strong>, have to set on an airplane for a long damn <strong>time<\/strong>\u2026 etc.\u2026 I&nbsp; hate <strong>packing<\/strong> for the long <strong>trip<\/strong>\u2026 anyway\u2026 I just hate today\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I got up and made my <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>morning<\/strong> walk\u2026 about 2.5 miles in about 40 minutes or less?&nbsp; Didn\u2019t really <strong>time<\/strong> it.&nbsp; There were a few others out today but still not a big <strong>day<\/strong> for activity before noon.&nbsp; College town and most of the occupants in the fall and spring are not moving till noon, unless they really have to.&nbsp; Just as I got back from my walk the cleaning lady showed up so I opted to run into town and have <strong>breakfast<\/strong> there.&nbsp; Even though I went to Mc&#8217;D\u2019s I had a pretty good <strong>breakfast<\/strong>\u2026 the oatmeal and apple juice\u2026I like their oatmeal because it has a little fruit in it and not so much sugar as the variety packs I normally eat\u2026 I can\u2019t quit go plain old oatmeal\u2026 it is way too bland for me\u2026 it needs some kick\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>Speaking of kick in&nbsp; oatmeal, an old friend of mine from previous a previous job, liked his oatmeal with soy sauce.&nbsp; Damn strange in my books but he swore it was pretty good.&nbsp; I can remember we were on an audit in Canada.&nbsp; At <strong>breakfast<\/strong> he ordered oatmeal then asked for some soy sauce to put on it.&nbsp; The waitress asked him at least twice if he was sure and he confirmed to her that he was\u2026 She took off to the back and pretty soon we heard the cook yell \u201cWHAT\u201d and then he came and peaked out the <strong>door<\/strong> while the waitress brought the soy sauce out and my friend proceeded to \u201cdoctor\u201d his oatmeal with it\u2026 They all stood there in full amazement\u2026 while he proceeded to eat the first few bites\u2026 I think they were all <strong>going<\/strong> to watch to <strong>make<\/strong> sure he eat some of it as they still did not believe what they were seeing\u2026 Ed was known for many such \u201cdifferent&#8217;\u201d antics\u2026 some that we just can\u2019t write up.. other than he was well known for his ability in <strong>one<\/strong> particular bodily <strong>function<\/strong>\u2026 so well known we all had started calling it the \u201c<strong>ED<\/strong>\u201d\u2026 he swears he does not have that same ability anymore but I would venture that it is like riding a <strong>bike<\/strong>\u2026 once learned ???? <\/p>\n<p>Back to my subject , today\u2026 well it was pretty much like yesterday\u2026 did a little stuff for work, a little stuff for me\u2026 repaired a few antiques, and took a <strong>nap<\/strong> in the <strong>afternoon<\/strong>\u2026 I am getting pretty good at the napping stuff.&nbsp; I <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>guess<\/strong> I better get it in before I get on the <strong>plane<\/strong> as that is <strong>going<\/strong> to be a killer of a <strong>trip<\/strong>\u2026 16+ hours on <strong>one<\/strong> <strong>plane<\/strong> and about 35 to 40 total before we get into Adelaide\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>Since I didn\u2019t get any good pictures today\u2026 I have some old ones\u2026 that I was reviewing for other things\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/billsfamily30s-90s0063.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image:
