Ok, I have been taking a bit too much time<\/strong> away from keeping the daily dairy updated.  I guess that is all that my blogging is but that is ok as I will have time<\/strong> to go back some day<\/strong> and figure<\/strong> out what went wrong or where I lost my mind\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today started out ok.  I got my 2+ mile walk in first thing and that was not too bad.  Once I got breakfast done, I worked on scanning some more of the papers and pictures from Dad\u2019s collection. The more I have scanned and filed away the longer they should last and might be useful when searching for history pieces and links for the family<\/strong>.  While doing some of that I remembered I had taking pictures when I went to the big city of Drummond the other day<\/strong>.  First I went by my Aunt and Uncles old farm, got some pictures of that and then up to the farm where I was raised\u2026<\/p>\n

\"SAM_5355\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I remember so much about growing up there.  This used to all be wheat fields but my cousin, who owns it now, wanted grass<\/strong> for horses and cows so he planted half of it to grass.  He also totally remodeled the house and put in a lot of corrals and stuff then left and has it rented out I think?<\/p>\n

Next I was in the big town of Drummond.  It is not a ghost town but damn near it\u2026<\/p>\n

\"SAM_5268\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In the old days (my old days) the corner<\/strong> building was the bank.  It is now the town museum.  The next to it was the Hardware store<\/strong> but that went out before I got out of school<\/strong>.  Next was the local Grocery and a meat<\/strong> market then what had been a pharmacy and misc.store<\/strong> but that was gone before I can remember.  I do remember being able to look in and see the old stuff way back.  Further down was a restaurant, the local phone office a repairs shop and the local beer joint.  Now there is little to see down there it is all closed except for one<\/strong> guy that took over several and has a cabinet shop.  This picture<\/strong> was taken in the middle<\/strong> of the week at about 1pm so you can tell that nothing is really open for business anymore. <\/p>\n

I picked up some papers there at the bank (that is not in the picture<\/strong>) and took them to the lawyer for processing.  <\/p>\n

I got back to Stillwater in time<\/strong> for lunch<\/strong> so you can tell I was not stopped at any one<\/strong> spot for much time<\/strong>\u2026 no need if you visit a town like this?<\/p>\n

Once back I spotted this \u201cREDNECK\u201d truck\u2026 now I have seen exhaust conversion of all kinds but this \u2026. was a waste of effort.<\/p>\n

Sorry the picture<\/strong> so so horrible\u2026 took it in a hurry out the windshield of the Jeep and I probably should get a new one<\/strong> or at least clean it?<\/p>\n

Since you can\u2019t really see it he put a single large exhaust up behind the cab not in the center<\/strong> but of set but I bet it causes problems<\/strong> seeing out the rearview mirror\u2026 I have seen those with dual exhaust put up to mimic the big trucks but this was just stupid\u2026<\/p>\n

Then today coming home after my first attempt at getting a car<\/strong> title changed I spotted this idiot\u2026<\/p>\n

\"SAM_5384\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Note to the left of center<\/strong> an orange<\/strong> mustang was driving the wrong way on the inside shoulder of a very divided highway?  Now how dumb is that? Beyond that he could of just pulled across the median or if they had been a little alert could of stopped and backed up when they woke up to the fact they were headed the wrong way on the wrong side<\/strong>?  but no , the continued to drive on that side<\/strong> for the 300 yards or more from one<\/strong> crossing to the next?<\/p>\n

I had several other small issues but they are all more family<\/strong> and personal so I won\u2019t put them here but suffice to say, the afternoon<\/strong> was one<\/strong> idiot deal<\/strong> followed by another\u2026 <\/p>\n

I sure hope tomorrow<\/strong> is better\u2026<\/p>\n

Ok, I have been taking a bit too much time away from keeping the daily dairy updated.  I guess that is all that my blogging is but that is ok as I will have time to go back some day and figure out what went wrong or where I lost my mind\u2026 <\/p>\n
