{"id":12597,"date":"2012-08-22T04:20:00","date_gmt":"2012-08-22T10:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/?p=12597"},"modified":"2012-08-22T04:20:00","modified_gmt":"2012-08-22T10:20:00","slug":"they-just-dont-read","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ishmaels.net\/blog\/2012\/08\/22\/they-just-dont-read\/","title":{"rendered":"They just don\u2019t read"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At first I was going to get back to the blog and write about the first few days of the new \u201cschool\u201d <strong>year<\/strong>.&nbsp; The students are back, <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/SAM_5271.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"SAM_5271\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_5271\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/SAM_5271_thumb.jpg?resize=553%2C301\" width=\"553\" height=\"301\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>the town is crowded and the drivers have not improved at all\u2026 I will keep an eye out and maybe have some <strong>photos<\/strong> of a few of the stunts I am seeing\u2026 It is also really nice weather here for a <strong>change<\/strong> but that has not stopped the young women from trying their best to attract the young men\u2026 case in <strong>point<\/strong>\u2026 Today on the way back from some <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>store<\/strong> activities I had to come by the new <strong>stop<\/strong> on Hall of Fame\u2026 The light caught me so I stopped and several young ??? Ladies, were crossing the <strong>street<\/strong>.&nbsp; One of them had on shorts that were , well short\u2026 and so tight all she could do crossing the <strong>street<\/strong> was pick at them as they were pinching into every \u2026 a\u2026 low spot\u2026 damn funny for an old <strong>guy<\/strong> like me\u2026 but I was too slow to get a picture\u2026 so maybe next time\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>On my tour around campus, <strong>cause<\/strong> you can\u2019t drive through at any <strong>point<\/strong>\u2026 I was alerted to this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/SAM_5272.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"SAM_5272\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_5272\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/SAM_5272_thumb.jpg?resize=569%2C329\" width=\"569\" height=\"329\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Not sure if they thought it was a neat Xmas present or they intend to have it finished by Xmas?&nbsp; But the sign is cool and the outdoor practice field is taking shape\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>Now to the <strong>meat<\/strong> of this post\u2026. I am taking care of <strong>Dad<\/strong>\u2019s stuff, has his <strong>mail<\/strong> forwarded to me so I can sift through, pay the final bills and clear up things as we <strong>deal<\/strong> with his passing.&nbsp; A difficult situation at best and I do wish I could <strong>call<\/strong> him or go by and ask him about things.&nbsp; The things we never got to discuss come to mind\u2026 but to the <strong>point<\/strong> here.&nbsp; The stupid hospital, the <strong>place<\/strong> where he passed on to meet Mom, has been sending out constant patient surveys for the <strong>past<\/strong> <strong>year<\/strong> that I have been helping <strong>Dad<\/strong>.&nbsp; They don\u2019t give up.&nbsp; Well I got <strong>one<\/strong> today and he passed in their hospital on the 27th of last <strong>month<\/strong>.&nbsp; You might think they had a process in <strong>place<\/strong> to <strong>stop<\/strong> all \u201cjunk\u201d <strong>mail<\/strong> when the person died?&nbsp; No, they are still sending him surveys\u2026 I was not nice and wrote that \u201cthey <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> to pull their collective heads out\u201d on the survey and will send it back\u2026&nbsp;&nbsp; I can\u2019t say much about the service they provided over the <strong>past<\/strong> <strong>year<\/strong>\u2026 the nurses were nice but generally I found the entire hospital organization there to be \u201cuncaring\u201d or just too damn covered up in <strong>BS<\/strong> paperwork.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>If you get sick and have to go to a hospital\u2026 make sure you have someone else that can look after you needs..,. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>REX<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At first I was going to get back to the blog and write about the first few days of the new \u201cschool\u201d year.&nbsp; The students are back, <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>the town is crowded and the drivers have not improved at all\u2026 I will keep an eye out and maybe have some photos of a few of the stunts I am seeing\u2026 It is also really nice weather here for a change but that has not stopped the young women from trying their best to attract the young men\u2026 case in point\u2026 Today on the way back from some store activities I had to come by the new stop on Hall of Fame\u2026 The light caught me so I stopped and several young ???
