and fishing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was just another <strong>one<\/strong> of those days.&nbsp; The days when you realize the mistakes you made at some earlier <strong>point<\/strong>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I got up , had my oatmeal and waited on the tile crew\u2026 well, gave up waiting so went out and got the mower going\u2026 actually got all but the pond dam mowed.&nbsp; The tile guys showed and got after the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>repair<\/strong> of two loose and broken tiles in the kitchen and grouting the bathroom\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>The mowing took me until about 11am and then I went to town, picked up some batteries and misc. stuff and went on to <strong>lunch<\/strong>.&nbsp; Boy was it hot today\u2026 well over 100.&nbsp; Just as I was about to go get my haircut we got a <strong>call<\/strong> from <strong>home<\/strong>.&nbsp; They had started to take the \u201cbench\u201d out of the shower and found more problems than we had anticipated\u2026 1.&nbsp; There was no tile behind it like we thought\u2026 2. it had been leaking and had some mold and was wet behind it.&nbsp; The big <strong>mistake<\/strong> was letting the original construction guys get by with putting in such a crappy bench\u2026 when I asked for a bench I was thinking a <strong>corner<\/strong>, hanging shelf to <strong>set<\/strong> on not that monster <strong>thing<\/strong> they put in\u2026 I also figured they would do a <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>good job<\/strong> of sealing it up but that was not something they intended as that would cost more money and <strong>time<\/strong>, and effort\u2026 oh well, good to be pulling it out now and finding the problems before the problem got too big to fix\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SAM_4451.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"SAM_4451\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_4451\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SAM_4451_thumb.jpg?resize=510%2C384\" width=\"510\" height=\"384\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So now it appears we have to take up most of the <strong>floor<\/strong>, and not sure how much more to get rid of all the bad stuff and then put it down, hopefully the <strong>right<\/strong> way?\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>When I got back to find this the crew was about to leave\u2026 I had hoped they would just go ahead and get started on the taking it out so we could get it back in this week?&nbsp; but that was not in their orders so they left early and we still do not have out bathroom finished so that we can <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>use<\/strong> it\u2026 I may just leave the <strong>toilet<\/strong> in there for a bench??? <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SAM_44291.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"SAM_4429\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_4429\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SAM_4429_thumb1.jpg?resize=363%2C431\" width=\"363\" height=\"431\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After all that I worked on a few more <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>computer<\/strong> things in the shop and <strong>set<\/strong> in the new <strong>chair<\/strong> and tried to get a nap but was not successful then figured why not just go fishing?&nbsp; I had not been in a year or more and the pond was back up\u2026 so I grabbed a <strong>pole<\/strong> with a <strong>plastic<\/strong> minnow and <strong>hit<\/strong> the pond about 6:45\u2026 caught about 6 or so small bass.&nbsp; One was so damn hungry he sucked the hook deep and ended up killing that <strong>one<\/strong>\u2026 but all the others were promptly put back in the pond for several more attempts at catching\u2026 the killed <strong>one<\/strong> I tried to dress out but I messed it up more than cleaning\u2026 I hope to do much better next <strong>time<\/strong>\u2026 <\/p>\n<p>Beyond all that it was just a damn hot <strong>day<\/strong>\u2026 maybe <strong>tomorrow<\/strong> I can finish up the mowing and maybe do a little weed
