Well, today was an adventure.  It started way too early as we were out by 4AM\u2026 on the road<\/strong> for a 1.5 hour ride to our next location<\/strong>.  We got there about the right<\/strong> time<\/strong> and spent most of the morning<\/strong> on that location<\/strong> watching, asking questions and checking paperwork\u2026 early in the morning<\/strong> I came across this fellow\u2026<\/p>\n

Once we had done all we felt we could do we decided to take off to a second location<\/strong> about 45 minutes away\u2026 we left the first location<\/strong> about 10:30 am\u2026 got into Morgantown and stopped for lunch<\/strong>\u2026 nothing<\/strong> to write about there\u2026 then off we went in search of the second location<\/strong>\u2026 leaving town about 11:40 or so\u2026 we were using a GPS<\/strong> with coordinates to get us to where we thought we needed to go\u2026 it took us on a road<\/strong> that at best was a trail but in the middle<\/strong> of this there were houses and paving at times\u2026 but it was barely one<\/strong> lane in most spots\u2026 we came out on a two lane paved road<\/strong>, went the designated few miles south and \u2026.. nothing<\/strong> but a house?  the GPS<\/strong> said we should be there or real close but we couldn<\/strong>\u2019t see anything<\/strong>\u2026 We huddled up and determined that it had to be further in toward the next town?  so off we went all the time<\/strong> the GPS<\/strong> saying we needed to turn<\/strong> back?  but we knew better\u2026<\/p>\n

We hit<\/strong> the major road<\/strong> and headed off along the river<\/strong>\u2026 what river<\/strong>??? I would not know till much later in the day<\/strong> that it was the Monongahela<\/a> at Fairmont.  <\/p>\n

We went in several directions, followed the GPS<\/strong> again and it took us to a dead end but later we found out that the dead-end was just on the other side<\/strong> of the mountain from where we needed to be, but you couldn<\/strong>\u2019t see it or tell where IT was\u2026 so finally we determined, after about 2 hours to back track to where we were told it was real close and right<\/strong> there, were the markers not more than a few hundred yards from where we had stopped before.  We even remember saying we could hear a dozer or something<\/strong> backing up\u2026 and how this deer sure should be tired standing in that yard all the time<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

This picture<\/strong> of the deer is from the back side<\/strong> coming out after we found the location<\/strong> and we had passed by it on the other side<\/strong> \u2026 about 2 hours before\u2026<\/p>\n

Once we made the correct turn<\/strong> and got to the top of the hill<\/strong> the dozer was there working at the site we needed to be at\u2026 sheesh we should pay more attention I guess but in this part of the country you can\u2019t see much of anything<\/strong> and pictures are real hard to take from a moving vehicle\u2026 see what I mean..<\/p>\n

Although when you can get a spot it is pretty nice out there\u2026<\/p>\n

It just isn\u2019t that easy to find an open spot with no trees in the way\u2026 and that was out day<\/strong>\u2026 we finished up as normal, late, and back to the hotel to get ready for another day<\/strong>..<\/p>\n
