OK<\/strong>, I am at work again but we are checking out some of the local high spots.<\/p>\n

We flew into Pittsburg<\/strong> but today we had to move down toward Weston, WV<\/strong>.\u00a0 Even though we are working<\/strong>, we do have to eat.\u00a0 To that end we took off for lunch<\/strong> and went to this little hole in the wall place<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n

The food<\/strong> was ok, not spectacular but the price was right\u2026 outside this place<\/strong> is a Historic sign\u2026 I guess I didn\u2019t know I was that close to Old Andy\u2019s home<\/strong> grounds???<\/p>\n

After lunch<\/strong> we made a run<\/strong> up the street to check<\/strong> this place<\/strong> out\u2026<\/p>\n

Supposedly this is one<\/strong> of the highest \u201cparanormal\u201d locations in the Allegheny area or maybe in the middle<\/strong> of the US?\u00a0 They do advertise they have ghosts<\/strong> and do ghost tours at special times\u2026 luckily we were in during the middle<\/strong> of the day<\/strong> while all the ghost were asleep\u2026 This place<\/strong> had been open since before the civil war and it is huge\u2026 maybe one<\/strong> of the biggest lunatic asylums I have<\/a> ever seen\u2026<\/p>\n

And this only shows the front building\u2026 there are several more behind this\u2026<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t ask but for sure think that this or one<\/strong> like it has been in the movies?<\/p>\n

They say some of the old inmates still come to set out here??? and the place<\/strong> was closed 20 years ago.<\/p>\n

We were told not to worry, they still have the bars on the windows?<\/p>\n

Yes there are real people<\/strong> and most of them worked here way back\u2026? hum, they said it was closed down 20 years ago?<\/p>\n

From the back of the T-shirts they sell, you might check<\/strong> out the reasons for committal\u2026<\/p>\n

it is empty now but they say you can hear doors slam<\/strong> and screams at times?<\/p>\n

yep, I am sure that would tranquilize me!<\/p>\n

so if your in Weston WV<\/strong> you might want to check<\/strong> out the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All this during a 1.5 hour<\/strong> lunch<\/strong> break\u2026 we took the 45 minute<\/strong> tour<\/strong> of the first floor only\u2026 I was told that the complete tour<\/strong> that covers the upper floors where they have a huge open hall, the morgue, electro shock wing, and other interesting stuff is way better and things just happen more on the upper floors as there was where the more \u201clunatic\u201d sections were as well as the more experimental treatments for mental problems<\/strong>\u2026? oh well, maybe some day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
