{"id":11346,"date":"2012-04-09T20:09:45","date_gmt":"2012-04-10T02:09:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/?p=11346"},"modified":"2012-04-09T20:09:45","modified_gmt":"2012-04-10T02:09:45","slug":"easter-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ishmaels.net\/blog\/2012\/04\/09\/easter-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Easter Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was too tired <strong>last<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>night<\/strong> and too busy this morning to post this but here is <strong>Sunday<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We were slower to rise (not sunrise service for us) .\u00a0 While I prepared to haul <strong>meat<\/strong> and other things <strong>home<\/strong> the ladies and Grandson went to church.\u00a0 I got ide and the ice chest ready and all the stuff packed so when they got back we could head off to my brothers <strong>house<\/strong> in Dallas proper, to pick up <strong>Dad<\/strong> and have a family <strong>lunch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While we waited, since we did get there early, we took a tour of the <strong>house<\/strong>.\u00a0 I really nice older <strong>home<\/strong> with a lot of very nice additions.\u00a0 I never thought I would see my brother <strong>buy<\/strong> a <strong>place<\/strong> with a <strong>pool<\/strong> but they sure did\u2026 I did get pictures of the <strong>pool<\/strong> area but neglected to get <strong>house<\/strong> pictures, so they will be for next <strong>time<\/strong>\u2026 but here is the <strong>pool<\/strong> area..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/SAM_0013.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"SAM_0013\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/SAM_0013_thumb.jpg?resize=557%2C419\" alt=\"SAM_0013\" width=\"557\" height=\"419\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The new <strong>camera<\/strong> does a pretty good job in overcast skies<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/SAM_0016.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"SAM_0025\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/SAM_0025_thumb.jpg?resize=283%2C213\" alt=\"SAM_0025\" width=\"283\" height=\"213\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They had a very nice <strong>lunch<\/strong> , like the old days, with T-bone steak, shrimp and fixings.\u00a0 I think <strong>Dad<\/strong> liked it.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We rested up a <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>bit<\/strong> after as we waited to see if the <strong>storms<\/strong> headed in would get worse or less\u2026 it turned out to be mostly just a good <strong>rain<\/strong> so when it slacked up we loaded <strong>Dad<\/strong> and headed out for <strong>home<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Of <strong>course<\/strong> I took the wrong <strong>turn<\/strong> at the 635 interchange and went <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>right<\/strong> into the construction slow down and that took us an extra 30 or 40 minutes to get through but once through we made pretty good <strong>time<\/strong> all the way to Norman.\u00a0 In Norman it looked like Wal-Mart had <strong>gas<\/strong> pretty cheep so we filled up there and got my 5cent discount and then off for <strong>home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Arrived <strong>home<\/strong> and took about <strong>15 minutes<\/strong> to dump the <strong>meat<\/strong>, say high and <strong>buy<\/strong> and off for Enid with <strong>Dad<\/strong>.\u00a0 Got him <strong>home<\/strong> at about 8:20, checked his <strong>mail<\/strong>, got him settled a little and then turned for <strong>home<\/strong> and was back <strong>home<\/strong> by 9:45\u2026 pretty quick <strong>time<\/strong> for all that.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At that point, it was <strong>time<\/strong> for shower and bed\u2026 crash\u2026\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>REX<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was too tired last night and too busy this morning to post this but here is Sunday\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We were slower to rise (not sunrise service for us) .
