I have just finished up an expansion of my work trip<\/strong>.  Once we got to Perth Australia we had a short meeting<\/strong> and determined that two of us had to fly to New<\/strong> Zealand to check<\/strong> out our operations there.  I was one<\/strong> of the lucky ones and once we got it all planned out I found that it was a 7 hour<\/strong> flight<\/strong> from Perth to Auckland<\/p>\n

then another hour<\/strong> to New<\/strong> Plymouth, where the facility was.  I have already posted the pictures I took of just flowers<\/strong> while there in my \u201cspare\u201d time<\/strong>.  New<\/strong> Zealand, the north island<\/strong>, is very beautiful and would be a nice to have to be stuck if you found you had to be stuck somewhere other than home<\/strong>.  The temperature is very moderate, although it did rain on us nearly every day.  Being that far south of the equator you would think they would get cold but due to the ocean it just doesn<\/strong>\u2019t change<\/strong> much.   I would guess that this will also be the furthest south I will ever be? Amazing what you can get into at times.  The country<\/strong> is filled with very nice people<\/strong> and things tend to be like it was 20 to 30 years ago in the US<\/strong> , although the prices are all current\u2026 actually the price<\/strong> of nearly everything<\/strong> is pretty high there\u2026 maybe not as high as western Australia but pretty damn high\u2026 <\/p>\n

My only complaint is\u2026 it is a 7 hour<\/strong> flight<\/strong> each way between Perth and Auckland\u2026 that on top of the 16 hour<\/strong> flight<\/strong> from Dallas to Brisbane then another 4 hours from Brisbane to Perth\u2026 I have more than gotten in my flying time<\/strong> this month<\/strong>\u2026 <\/p>\n
