We have been way busy since we got here in Perth.  I have been here a little over 24 hours and had several meetings and walked a facility with numerous things to fix.  To the point<\/strong> of seeing any sites\u2026 Well what can you see when your working<\/strong>?  We do however walk to the office<\/strong> so that gave a small opportunity to see some of the downtown sites.  I found it very interesting that in the downtown area there are numerous old churches<\/strong> and a few buildings that are from an earlier era.  Not all the old buildings have been torn down and replaced with the modern city ones.  Here are a few of the things that build a huge contrast in the downtown.<\/p>\n

\"belltower\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It is called the Bell Tower<\/strong> across from the office<\/strong> building<\/strong> and open park that opens to a bay.<\/p>\n

\"church1\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One of the many churches<\/strong> and old buildings left in the middle<\/strong> of new high rise buildings.<\/p>\n

Although not a church I believe this is an old bank left in-between to new high rise buildings of glass.<\/p>\n

This is an entrance to one<\/strong> that actually sets behind the one<\/strong> above.<\/p>\n

Another of those \u201ccontrast\u201d buildings left between high rise units.<\/p>\n

Ok, this is not a building<\/strong>\u2026 you can tell that right<\/strong>?  but it is a contrast just the same\u2026 I have seen several of the \u201ccontrasting\u201d people<\/strong> here?  Not sure the linkage but could be a member<\/strong> of those on \u201cwalk-about\u201d for life?  – WD0AJG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
