Well some days when I come in the house from being outside doing nothing I am “hassled” by my wife’s dogs… notice I indicated she wanted and got them… I didn’t need dogs, as you can always get the required attention from someone elses dog, just not be required to feed, groom, chase, put up with, etc… That said I do feel compelled to provide some attention to those two, otherwise they would lead a single function (lap warmer for wife)… so… some days when I come in they feel it is play time. If it is nice out we will go out front and I throw big ball or disc or as stated before ? yesterday I did that… and the cat, as she sometimes does, had to come watch…
Watching in somewhat disgust at those stupid dogs…
Each as a favorite chase item… his… that huge ball that by the third time is covered in slobber…
She prefers the bright flying cross or disc… easier for her to pick up…
all this is fun for about 10 minutes or more… depending on weather but once they get sufficiently winded the white one runs to the front door… ready to quit… the black one just slobbers on the big ball but doesn’t bring it in near as fast…
I would also assume that cleaning out crap ( not too fast) and playing on the radio are doing nothing? I do that a lot… amazing how much crap we have collected over the years and I have moved multiple times… slowly it is being hauled off… or goes missing in the case of some things not mentioned… ha!
