Long day, GS#3 birthday party… short version… yesterday the smoker went crazy and “blackened” the first brisket… they got another and spent all night cooking that and it turned out great… went to breakfast at Village Inn… picked up stuff for the big deal at 4pm… guests came, full house… big family, lots of gifts, he loved the “push toys” … and the cake… he had a personal cake…
He will actually be 1 Sept 9th. They could of pushed it up to my birthday but no… held off 5 days so he has his own…
Eat cake by the fist full… seems like his Dad did the same thing at about 2 years old?

that was about it, we all ate way too much after that, lots of brisket, burnt ends, etc.… fruit… and lots of talking and stories and happy family…
We are all really tired, and off to bed early… at least for the old folks..
