There have been many articles written about the rules of investing in the financial markets and the basics of them all center around 5 important concepts:
- Sell losing positions quickly
- Let winners continue to win – until they don’t any more.
- Never take on more risk than you can afford to lose.
- Always protect your capital investment by minimizing losses.
- Buy low and sell high.
The “risk” of loss of investment capital at the current time is outweighed by the potential for return. – very true if you look at the last month or even the last 4 months…
I am not sure how low it will go but the news is not good and the outlooks worse. Just thoughts from the trenches. – WD0AJG
