A couple of us decided that Sunday morning we were going to make a short walking tour of the downtown area of Houma, La. I am sure there are a lot more things to see in Houma than what we saw but we only walked around for an hour… but these were the things we saw.
Used to be the City Hall but now is a Theater.

Turns out to be Mahoney’s bar… great place with a balcony.
Guess what the street is …”Church Street”…
There are several small parks with bench’s to enjoy the few things around.
They also have a lot of canals and the bridges have to be “raised” for the boats to pass.
Interesting to say the least and so much more that we didn’t get to see… REX
