During my extra long travel day to Oman I saw this in the Amsterdam Airport. I would guess that for some reason it had structural significance and that is the reason they did not remove it but this is a set of doors that are in the middle of the concourse. At one time they may have been doors from one part to another but now they stand little use and of no purpose other than to spilt or impede travelers on their way from one end to the other.
Yes I was there for all of 2 hours waiting on the connection from a 9 hour flight to another 7 hour flight – Travel for work SUCKS!…
