While working in Australia I came across many vehicles here that take the opposite end of things to mount antennas. I must have something to do with driving on the wrong side of the road and setting on the wrong side of the car to drive? Not sure but that “left-handed” attitude may be seen in the antenna mounting ideas.
I think I saw one Ham operator with several antennas on the front and maybe one on the cab but it is hard to really tell if you don’t get a chance to talk with people or see the vehicle setting like these two… The one I saw was in a vehicle that passed us on the freeway so … 10 seconds or
