Not much to write about or rather not much that pushes me to be “wordy” I shouldn’t let that block the weekly or daily updates as there are many… we are doing things, just haven’t felt the urge to write about it.
So what has been happening? Well we spent two weeks in Oklahoma to gather up more stuff, take care of more stuff and attend a few of the local games… I am very impressed with the job the new BB coach is doing. Some how he is taking many of the same players and getting them to play with way more heart and do things they have not done in years. Like Beat OU twice in the same year and win a bunch of road games (in a row) in the big 12. Now that is a feat of it’s own to move up from last place to solid 5th place in a very difficult conference. Anyway we were there and it was a great show… wait to the end to pull off the win, nearly all of them lately have been “nail-biters” but that is ok you get a great show for the price of admission..
and the students didn’t rush the court but the players rushed the students. The house it packing it in again and getting loud.
We have also been making trips to Enid and Ponca and other places to see relatives, check in taxes, etc.… on our way from Enid to Ponca we took the back road and I had forgotten this old bank and hadn’t been in Pond Creek in a really long time… the bank is older than the state.
Although it is no longer the bank there it is a neat old building that is preserved.
Down the street is another of those wall Muriel’s that are found all over Oklahoma now…
and not to be out done this is a great way to name your liquor store…

We got back to Colorado last week and made a trip to Denver for the day, taking excess stuff up so it can be refinished or re-used? Took GS#2 out for lunch and he promptly decided something he put in his mouth was not to his liking and threw up!…
He doesn’t just spit out stuff he doesn’t like, he forces an upchuck and makes a big mess… that was fun.. NOT!
He got wiped down but was best to remove the soiled pants for the ride home…
It has been really nice here the past few days (till yesterday) and I got a small project done… the previous owner had cabinets in the garage and they worked fine for him but for me one was way too close to the door and I wanted it moved so when I put in a motion sensor on the light switch the cabinet didn’t block 80% of the garage… I got it down and moved to a new location (by my self)… but not a big deal.
The old location was to the left of that peg board..
The new spot it on the north wall along with a single one that was on this wall already… I had to move it over and then “plant” the old one next to it. I need to do something about those work benches as the white one is not tied down the one in 2×4 is too high, etc.… Maybe I Need to make some fold up benches on this side? will see how it works out as I am not in a big hurry.
