And there was a decent old pickup under there but now they even have to chain the barn top in place to keep it from tipping over and ruining some other wonderful stuff!

It is wonderful to have so much construction going on and you have a construction class… easy field trips…
If the owner behind us had not gotten so carried away at clearing and cleaning we would see these little fellas coming through our yard… but the place behind… 100 acres, gets mowed every other week, even when it doesn’t need it and they don’t put the grass up for hay… just keep it mowed…
Mom had gone on across ahead and the two little ones came bounding along… I was slow grabbing the camera but did get the flag…
It is fall, and color time… strange you never really notice the barn has so much yellow in it until…
I need some of these in my front bed… but haven’t found any like them…

I am about finished up with another airplane… I don’t work fast enough to make it pay so I don’t try to… I will call it the Busch Plane… ha!
Currently working on putting some fake strut wires on the wings… just for looks then put on the cowling and wheels and machine gun and call it done…
Well I got it done (98%)… I had to paint the prop and will need to put on a nut to hold it in place once dry… but hear it is almost done (less paint0..
Next up… I got some SanteFe Brewing cans (checkerboard) and thought they would make great wings on a bi-plane like this but what to use for the body?
I am leaning toward the white tango or the blue and gold Hamm’s? but the gold Miller might do ok? It will be the plane after the P47 to be done next… got special cans for that one…
In the interim of all this I was making contacts on 30 and 160 meters JT65 and JT9… getting maybe 3 to 8 per night now… testing the new 160 meter loop antenna… It works pretty good, even on RCV… the noise is higher than the little mag loop but seems it hears a lot of stuff… although I don’t get out TX all that good? and the Windom seems to be on the fritz for 160… won’t tune up proper? haven’t figured that out yet…
