Well, I am off on another adventure. Left yesterday for South Louisiana (yes it is for work) … I actually enjoy trips down here but not during the summer and early fall… so much stuff is “out of season”… but that doesn’t hinder the chance to get some good food otherwise… well that was the hope…
Sunday I got the early flight to Dallas so had time to get some dinner at the airport… yea airport food… whoopie… although there is a Papa Deaux in Terminal A… I wasn’t that hungry… but maybe I should have been ? as things are not heading in the right direction yet…
In the airport I opted for a cheaper Louisiana specialty… Popeye’s…
Yes… I ate the bones!…
Today was not much better… we were taken to a great little restaurant in New Iberia…
Oh boy… come to South Louisiana and get Mexican?
I did opt for the shrimp chimichanga… so that might make it a little more local?
Tonight… the crew opted for , of all places, “Out Back steakhouse”… geeez, so I had the 6oz filet with not much else… no picture as I figure you have seen a very small filet with nothing else on the plate…I am so stuffed from over eating all the wrong stuff… I need to go lay down now.
I wonder what they will think of next?
I figured they would make me ride the pony… but I got out before they offered….
